Board Meeting Discussion

After the Presidents Cup tournament the board held a quick meeting. The following was decided:

1. The format for the Club Championship and the procedure to pick the 4-Man Zone Team will be changed next year. Because of our smaller membership we will have only one flight and will play from the white tees. Low gross will still become club champion. The Club Champion and the three top low net finishers (based on an 18.4 handicap index) will form the 4-Man Zone Team.

2. In 2010, membership fees will be $96 for renewal and $96 for new members. The NCGA charges more for a new member but we made it the same price to help encourage new members to join.

3. At the December tournament, instead of providing a meal voucher we will reduce the entry fee by $10 to $55.

4. Ted Clouse gave an overview of the problems he is having with our website blocking access to certain data files. Ted has been spending a lot of his personal time on the problem and getting little help from the website host company. If anyone would like to take over the website please contact Ted.
